Privacy Policy

Rugby Football Club Finder ("the app", available at rfcfinder.com and as an iOS/Android app) is a directory for finding rugby clubs and helping clubs get found, with a team store where clubs design and order kit. This policy describes what we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and a password (stored hashed), or your identity token if you sign in with Google or Apple. Used solely to operate your account.
• Location — if you grant permission, your device location is used to center the map and find clubs near you. It is not stored on our servers.
• Content you provide — club profiles, player cards (display name, positions, bio), photos you upload, and kit designs. Club profiles and player cards exist to be publicly visible; that's the product. Kit designs are visible to the audience the club chooses.
• Kit orders — when you order kit, the size and quantity you chose and the delivery address you enter at checkout. The address is collected by Stripe on our behalf and is passed to the supplier who makes and ships the order. We never see or store card numbers.
• Design credits — a prepaid balance you top up through Stripe (web), the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), and a ledger of what it was spent on. We store the transaction reference the payment provider gives us, not your payment details.
• Club gear requests — if you ask a club for an item from its own stock, your request and any contact details you choose to add are shown to that club's managers only.
• AI design generation — when you generate a kit design, the description you type and the club's crest are sent to an AI image-generation provider to produce the design.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events such as searches, profile views and store views, keyed by a random session identifier. If you are signed in, an event can be linked to your account. There is no advertising identifier.

What we don't do

• No advertising networks, no tracking across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data.

Services we rely on

Data is processed by Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Mapbox (maps and location search), Stripe (payments and delivery addresses), Apple and Google (in-app purchases and, if you choose them, sign-in), Resend (transactional email), and AI image-generation providers for kit designs. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. The kit supplier receives what it needs to fulfil an order: sizes, quantities, the design, and the delivery name and address.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time:

• Club managers — on the dashboard's club page, scroll to the bottom and tap Settings, then Delete account.
• Players and coaches — scroll to the bottom of your card or practice board and tap Settings, then Delete account.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your account, your player card, your photos, your club memberships, your gear requests, and any remaining design credits. Clubs you managed stay in the directory without a manager and can be claimed again. Kit orders that have already been placed with a supplier are kept as anonymous order records so they can still be delivered and accounted for; payment records are retained by Stripe, Apple or Google under their own policies. If you have paid into a kit order that has not yet been placed, the app asks you to pull out of it first so we can refund you.
